Our Drivers Are Your Ambassadors
With an order book that runs from Inverness to the Channel Islands, it’s important that our drivers are passionate about what they do. Our fleet of nine vans leaves the factory at 5:30am every weekday morning and has clocked up around 400,000 miles over the past year.
We know customers want aluminium doors and windows that are ‘right first time, every time.’ We take care that our products they leave our factory in exceptional condition, ready for delivery to customers – and it’s just as important that they arrive on-site in the same great shape. That’s why our drivers are such a crucial part of our company.
We don’t use outside delivery agencies. All of our drivers are permanent employees, trained to the high standards we encourage in all of our factory staff. They share the AluFoldDirect commitment to providing exact, high-quality doors and windows direct to site, for a fast, efficient installation.
We realise that, once on site, they’re also the ambassadors for your company and will arrive in an unbranded van. Whether we’re delivering an aluminium bi-folding door, sliding door or commercial door, it will be handled with care and in line with the customer’s wishes.
Our drivers understand the needs of installers and builders and know the products backwards, so can provide any advice or assistance that’s needed. They will also carry out final checks on delivery to make sure that products are ready for installation.
Similarly, we’ve invested to ensure that vans are specifically designed to hold wide-span glazed products such as bi-folds. From the outside, they look like standard vans. Inside, the layout of our shelving protects against damage to the glazing but also minimises the risk of even the slightest scratch to the frames themselves.
This investment also means we can deliver our bi-fold doors full-frame, helping customers to reduce their installation time.
Putting the customer first is a key part of our success and we know that our job ends only when our product is installed. The delivery process is a critical part of achieving that customer satisfaction and that’s down to the care, attention and commitment of our drivers.
